Thank You
The 2014 Haru Cup was a fine success--62 different players took part in at least one of the seven events. But none of this could have happened without the support of certain people. It is time to give them thanks.
First and foremost, Chris Hurquin who organized most of the events. Chris put in a lot of time finding suitable courses and doing many things from email communication to transportation. In addition, Chris won second place but forewent his prize so that another player could have one. Simply put, there would have been no Haru Cup without him. Thank you very much, Chris!
Next, Kamel from Accor. We had some fabulous prizes thanks to Kamel and the Accor company. The hotel and breakfast vouchers were great and made this a very sweet tournament indeed. Thank you, Kamel.
Yasu Iwatani, in addition to organizing the Koshigaya Haru Cup outing, also generously donate a very nice golf prize. Thank you, sir--it is much appreciated.
Finally, a shout out to Aya Morohoshi who helped arrange the two Kodama Golf Club outings. Her company allows her and accompanying golfers to play at reduced rates and Haru Cup participants at the two Kodama GC events got a significant discount thanks to her. Thanks, Aya!
Until the next tournament!
